If you grew up in the 80's then you must have felt a pang when you heard they were making this. Yes, the original was cheesy as hell but it was also great fun. This is a pretty poor update but had enough to keep me watching to the end.

It's not getting any better, possibly even worse. The Darby O'Gill and the Little People story line has to end soon, please.

I'm blowing so hot and cold on this series (as the bishop.....). This one appealed to me greatly and once again shows that getting rid of the rampant campness is a good thing.

Just when I thought they were on the right track, they pull this clunker out of the hat. Back to poor humour, slapstick and special effects from the Evil Dead school of no-money.

Very disappointed by this. Felt utterly flat with no surprises, apparently no dead Heroes and only a couple of new characters.

This spin-off from Doctor Who is well worth a look

Wow, they pulled it off, absolute highlight of the season. Utterly riveting, feelings of sadness, empathy and loss. Why can't they deliver at this level all the time. But no cliffhanger? Captain John's first appearance in the show was silly, high camp...

I really do want to like this but it is just so weak. Episode 5 was a welcome improvement but it needs more.
